The truth is, most people don’t need Kanban boards and triggered tasks based on things that happen on the web. That means that it should be the default option of any Apple user since it sits there ready to use on your devices. No it’s not cross-platform like TickTick and Todoist are…but it is free for everyone with an Apple device. No it doesn’t have it’s own custom scripting language like OmniFocus does. It was only an option for those that had very light task management needs.īut those days are long gone, and Apple Reminders has become a very capable task manager for almost every user. When Reminders was first introduced it was far behind the other tools on the market in the feature department so you couldn’t blame anyone who was looking for a good task manager when they dismissed Reminders without much thought.
With the wealth of excellent task managers out there it’s easy to overlook Apple Reminders and there is a good reason it gets overlooked.
